I have struggled with eczema for years. I'm lucky. I only get it behind and in my ears. I know people who have it all over their bodies. Children are especially vulnerable as it's harder for them to follow treatment protocol and avoid scratching.
My book "Prescription for Nutritional Healing" (a great volume--every family should have one) says eczema forms in sweaty areas with thin skin and where moisture gets trapped. I wear a CPAP breathing mask and have long, thick hair. Moisture form along the hairline around my ears.
