Don't Be Ashamed of Pre-Menstrual Syndome, PMDD

Do you suffer with PMS (premenstrual syndrome) or the even more difficult PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder). I've struggled with PMDD for decades before I knew it had a name. Now I'm in menopause but I still get PMS-like symptoms. Do family members complain that you are grouchy? Do you berate yourself for PMS irritability? Well quit it. Embrace PMS. It's a good wake up call for everyone that mom is human. Obviously, I'm not saying wave PMS like a flag to excuse behavior. God forbid we'd use horrific cramps and back pain as excuse (insert sarcasm).  But it's us who struggle most and we deserve a little TLC. Stay Away from Steroidal DHEA Weight Loss Supplement

I’ve been dieting and lost 96 pounds. I use herbal and fruit supplements recommended by Dr. Oz, or another trusted source. I’d heard of DHEA and found it in the Meijer and Sundown Naturals vitamins. So it was FDA approved. It was labeled as helping metabolize sugar.

I’ve used cinnamon for blood sugar problems and thought DHEA might help. Well, it boosted metabolism right into mania. My heart pounded, my hands shook. I had delusions and panic attacks. How I Am Trying to Break My Habit of Staying Up too Late

I have been staying up too late at night and having trouble getting up in the morning. My husband works nights and I miss him. After the kids go to bed I read or watch TV or play on Facebook, way too late. Here's how I'm breaking that habit.

* One thing at a time. I've been working on breaking other bad habits--overspending, overeating, depression, anger. I had some health issues that I've found some treatment for--cholesterol, arthritis, pre-diabetes, sleep apnea. I was able to lose 88 pounds--only 12 left to goal weight. So now I can turn my attention to staying up late.  How I Am Breaking Bad Stay Up Late Habit
